Enhance Pro Staffer Derek Randle (The Retriever Academy) recently finished developing 15 acres of world-class technical water training grounds. The project was part of turning the Retriever Academy, which has produced countless champions as a breeding and training facility, into a preferred location for high-profile retriever competition. So far in 2011, Derek and the Retriever Academy have hosted multiple AKC events as well as an HRC event (500+ entries). Derek Randle and the Retriever Academy are sponsored by Enhance Brand Performance Dog Foods.
As competitors, Derek and his dogs have earned 6 Grand Passes, 9 Master Hunter Titles, and 6 Hunting Retriever Champion Titles so far in 2011 alone.
Additionally, the cover of 16th Anniversary Issue of the Retriever Journal features champion dogs exclusively from the Retriever Academy. These canine athletes are fueled exclusively by Enhance Brand Performance Dog Food products.
Team Enhance congratulates Derek Randle and the rest of the Staff on a very successful 2011 and wishes the Staff continued luck in the coming months! Fans of hunting, training and performance nutrition can get advice from Derek and the rest of our Pros at www.enhance3022.com/blog.

Attached are pictures form the seminar that I presented in Sioux Falls, SD on August 15 &16 on behalf of Enhance Brand Dog Food.
The seminar was held by the Dakota Retriever Club at Shane and Teri Jo Olean’s Smokin’ Dakota Kennels. Over 40 people (including several pros) attended the two day event.
The seminar centered around the “20 Minute Gun Dog” program that we have developed, and emphasized the need for both pros and amateurs alike to have a good blueprint to follow when building a retriever. In addition to lecturing on the subject, I gave in depth demonstrations of obedience training, collar conditioning, Indirect pressure, force fetch on a table, single and double T, swim-by, and pattern blinds. We also covered solving problems such as bugging, bank running, and no-going. At one point I even got Dave Nielson to get down on the ground beside me to demonstrate the proper way to give a dog a line! Overall I believe it was a great seminar , and I really want to thank the Oleans and all the members of the Dakota Retriever Club for having me there.
Thanks!
J. Paul Jackson
